Summer begins with numerous noteworthy events coming up in our beautiful Sunshine State. Attracting a huge crowd every year is the Tampa Bay Rath Yatra, on June 29 at the Hindu Temple of Florida. Kudos to Gulf Coast Gujarati Samaj President Dr. Jignesh Patel for taking the initiative to plan “Yaadon Ki Baarat” on June 21 at the Charlotte Harbor Event Center. It’s a must-see for all you Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi and Bhoomi Trivedi (of “Raam Leela” fame) fans. And then veteran actress-classical dancer Hema Malini returns to Florida for two “Durga” dance ballet performances, first in Coral Springs on June 22, and then Orlando on June 27. Also, we have a company profile on the stunning growth of HCI Group in Tampa.
