It is the season for celebrations, as in India Festivals. As you can see from our page 1 story, in March, there are five India festivals: Melbourne, Gainesville, Fort Myers, Jacksonville and Orlando. Next month is the Maestros in Concert by Zakir Hussain and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma in Miami, Tampa, Palm Beach, Tallahassee and Jacksonville. Florida is indeed blessed to have such world-renowned musicians visit and entertain us.

We kick off a new finance column by Suresh Kumar, CPA, who writes about foreign income and foreign tax credits (page 17). Also, we are thrilled with the response from children to our Creative Art columnist Shyama Rangwala’s art competition. For January contest winners, see page 21.
