From The Editor's Desk By NITISH S. RELE and SHEPHALI J. RELE - [email protected]
Within a span of just six months, we are expanding coverage and increasing the number of pages to 16 in February. This is possible because of the encouraging response we have received from well-wishers, advertisers and readers. We are glad that several of you mailed us your names and addresses on our free subscription form. We are running the form again in this issue (see page 11 in the print section or email us at [email protected]).
Joining Khaas Baat with another new column are Purvi Patel, center director of Sylvan Learning Center in Zephyrhills, and Dr. Judy Johnson, a Ph.D. in Special Education and regional director of Sylvan Learning Centers in north Hillsborough and Pasco counties. The two have put together a column on self-esteem for children. Also, Manish Kharod, who works at Verizon and voluntarily teaches at the Vidyalaya of Hindu Temple of Florida, has written about the changes made by the College Board in the SAT exams, which will begin on March 12.
We want to assure all the readers that we appreciate and are working hard to implement their recommended suggestions. Please keep up with the feedback to [email protected]
See you in March.
For readers we may have missed on our mailing list please send your name and address to [email protected]
