This romantic family comedy stars Akshay Kumar as Kishan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan as Mala. They’ve been bitter and spiteful throughout their 35 years of marriage and the relationship is now threatening to ruin their son, Bunty, played by Aditya Roy Kapur. Bunty loves his girlfriend Tanya, played by Sudeepa Singh, but panics at the thought of marriage. When Tanya’s grandfather, Prof. Anthony Gonzalves, played by Randhir Kapoor, gives him an ultimatum to marry his grand-daughter or else, Bunty is forced to act. In order to live happily ever after with Tanya, Bunty must turn back the clock to alter his parents’ disastrous arranged marriage. Reminiscent of “Back to the Future,” Bunty steals the professor’s time machine and travels to the 1970s and sets forth a plan to transform his geeky, simpleton father and tomboyish mother and then make them fall in love. Then he must make his grand-parents agree to their “love marriage.” This Diwali release is sure to please with lots of laughs and chart-topping music.

Hrithik Roshan plays magician Ethan Mascarenhas, who’s injured when a magical trick goes wrong. A spinal injury immobilizes him but he continues to spread magic and hope through a radio show. His wit and humor is evident to every listener and caller. He is aided through every moment by his beautiful nurse Sofia played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. They share a strong yet quiet spirited love. However, after 14 years as a paraplegic, Ethan shocks everyone when he decides to take control of his life and petitions the court for the right to commit suicide. As he struggles through the hassles that ensue, Ethan agrees to pass on his magical knowledge by teaching Omar Siddiqui, played by Aditya Roy Kapoor, who desperately wants to learn magic from the best. What follows is a tumultuous wave of emotions and visual delight in cinematography. Director Bhansali makes his debut as composer with the music of “Guzaarish,” which has garnered rave reviews.
“Break Ke Baad” Starring Imran Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sharmila Tagore, Navin Nischol, and Lillette Dubey; directed by Danish Aslam; music by Vishal and Shekhar.
This heartwarming story of long-distance love brings together Imran Khan and Deepika Pakukone as Abhay and Aaliya. They’ve know known each other since they were young children. While Aaliya has long desired to become an actress, Abhay, unclear about his lifelong goals, knows that Aaliya is the girl for him. Aaliya has plans to make her dreams come true. Personality differences between the two cause a rift in their relationship. When Aaliya decides to go to Australia to study, Abhay fears he will lose her forever. They agree to use the time apart to figure out what they want and their choices test the relationship. Aaliya, who has risked everything, realizes there is no joy in reaching your dream if there’s no one to share it with. And Abhay risks losing his self-respect but realizes seeing a dream slowly come to life is the biggest high. They become stronger and manage to save their relationship “Break ke Baad.”
