SHERIFF’S INDIAN COUNCIL RECOGNIZES TAMPA GURDWARA

Tampa Gurdwara volunteers have served and distributed more than 80,000 free hot meals, over $100,000 value fresh produces, thousands of grocery bags and hundreds of blankets to the needy and the homeless in the Tampa Bay region. Their volunteers have participated in several Covid-19 vaccination drives, blood donation and flu shot drives.

The services of volunteers at Tampa Gurdwara were recognized by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Indian Advisory Council Dec. 8 at India Cultural Center, Tampa.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister and his team members were present and appreciative of the efforts by Tampa Bay sangat to unconditionally serve the community. Also present were members of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Indian Advisory Council Executive Committee, Dr. Vipul Kabaria, Dr. C.J. Patel, Alpa Patel Manish Patel, Haresh Patel and many others.
