As the fasting month of Ramadan comes to an end, we wish Eid Mubarak to our readers.
Parents, you must be settled into the new school year. Now it’s time to start thinking of all the activities coming up that you want to attend. To start with, there are Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the early half of September.
Art lovers, be sure to be present at one of the exhibitions/workshops of Florida artist Vilas Tonape. Our profile of the talented painter and teacher is on page 17. Also, folks in the Tampa Bay area and surrounding communities may want to check out a review of the “Indian Funeral Resource Book” on page 19.
Community organizers, remember to drop us an
e-mail about future events in your town. Remember, Khaas Baat is the ONE AND
ONLY Sunshine State publication to offer comprehensive coverage of happenings in
your Florida Indian community.
