As the fasting month of Ramadan comes to an end, we wish Eid Mubarak to our readers. Also, congrats to all the summer graduates while the summer temperatures continue to sizzle we have several events in Florida, including the Swami Mukundananda talks June 8-13 in Tampa, Fort Myers Hindu Temple eight-year anniversary on June 9, “Sundarkand Path” by Ashwin Pathak in both Orlando (June 2) and Tampa (June 4).

This month, we review two books: “Friend of My Youth” by Amit Chaudhuri and “The Bhagavad Gita: The Song of God Retold in Simplified English” by Edward Viljoen. Our test-drive car reviews include the Volvo XC60, Toyota Avalon and C-HR, and the Kia Forte. Plus, we have columns on health, fashion, bridge to college, immigration and art.
