Season's greetings and happy holiday to all our readers.
Looking back, we wanted to show you some glimpses of the two big events that took place: India Festival and Diwali. You may already have seen some of the glimpses of India Festival on page one. Please turn to page 12 for a look at Diwali festivities.
As we move from the festival season into the holiday season, we at Khaas Baat continue to evolve and grow.
We were thrilled with the response that Sushama Kirtikar received in November for her debut column, "Mental Health." Continuing on that note, we are kicking off yet another new column, this one on finance, by Nitesh Patel of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
We are publishing two poems by Anya Jain, a 9-year-old at Cimino Elementary School in Valrico. Our hope is that more children will send in their writings for us. And we look forward to recipes and youth accomplishments. In that respect, we are asking parents to e-mail us information about their children's achievements to [email protected].
